Ivan came to Canada from Hungary in 1957. He graduated from McGill in the early 60s, then worked for the City of Montréal as an urban planner. He met Valéria (Vali) and they married in 1964. Some of Ivan's recollections are memories that evoke our shared experience, fellow Montréalers know well Expo 67, the Storm of a Century in 1971, the 1976 Olympics. Ivan's words are accented with his Hungarian roots, his family life and their travels, his warmth and kind heart.
